EMAK-EMAK Demo Menteri Bahlil Saat Kunker di Rempang Batam: Teruslah Berbohong, Kami Tolak Relokasi!
BATAM, detak24com – Menteri Investasi/Kepala BKPM Bahlil Lahadalia mengunjungi Pulau Rempang, Kota Batam, Kepulauan Riau (Kepri), Jumat (06/10/23). Dalam kunjungannya ke Tanjung Banon, Rempang, Bahlil disambut demo warga yang sebagian besar emak-emak.
Menteri Bahlil tiba di Masjid Al-Ihsan Tanjung Banun, Rempang, Batam sekitar pukul 15.30 WIB. Ia kemudian melaksanakan salat Ashar berjamaah di masjid tersebut.
Masyarakat sekitar pun langsung memadati area sekitar masjid tersebut. Ratusan masyarakat itu menyampaikan penolakan untuk direlokasi dengan membawa berbagai spanduk.
“Kami menolak direlokasi/digusur,” tulis salah satu spanduk yang dibawa warga. “Kami menolak kekerasan dan segala intimidasi,” tulis spanduk lainnya. “Sembulang kampung bersejarah. Kami ingin tetap di kampung kami,” tulis di spanduk lainnya yang dibawa warga.
Menteri Bahlil sendiri usai salat Ashar berjamaah di masjid tersebut langsung berdialog dengan masyarakat. Usai berdialog, Menteri Bahlil kemudian menemui massa yang sebagian besar emak-emak yang membawa spanduk menolak direlokasi.
Saat berdialog, Bahlil meminta masa tersebut untuk menurunkan spanduk yang dibawa. Hal itu agar mereka dapat berdiskusi, namun ditolak warga. “Kami tetap menolak untuk direlokasi dengan alasan apapun,” kata salah satu ibu-ibu di lokasi tersebut.
Diskusi antara warga dan Menteri Bahlil di depan masjid tersebut tampak tak membuahkan hasil. Menteri Bahlil kemudian bergegas menuju mobil dan meninggalkan masa sekitar pukul 15.40 WIB.
Salah satu warga membantah pernyataan Menteri Bahlil. Warga tersebut mengaku dari Kampung Pasir Panjang. “Teruslah berbohong, di Pasir Panjang itu ada 130 KK dan yang menerima baru 28 KK. Jelas itu tidak ada 70 persen. Jangan coba untuk pecah belah kami,” ujarnya.
Usai mengunjungi Tanjung Banun, Rempang, Menteri Bahlil direncanakan mengunjungi warga Rempang yang telah bersedia di relokasi. Kunjungan dilakukan di Perumahan Bida 3, Sambau, Nongsa. Selanjutnya kembali ke Batam seperti dikutip dari detikcom.***
