KUANSING, detak24com – Eman pasrah tangannya diborgol polisi saat di kedai tuak Desa Beringin Taluk, Kecamatan Kuantan Tengah. Ketika aparat menunjukkan rekaman CCTV, ia tak dapat berkilah lagi.
Warga Dusun Tobek Panjang itu akhirnya meringkuk di balik jeruji besi setelah diamankan Satreskrim Polres Kuansing atas kasus pencurian di MIM Telukkuantan, Kuansing.
Kapolres Kuansing, AKBP Pangucap Priyono dirilis detak24com, Rabu (05/07/23) mengatakan, tersangka diringkus Senin (03/07/23) sekira pukul 03.00 WIB. Pelaku diketahui warga Dusun Tobek Panjang, Kecamatan Kuantan Tengah.
Ia menyebutkan, kasus ini terungkap berawal dari laporan korban Rudi Rohendri (34) kepada Sat Reskrim Polres Kuansing, atas kehilangan satu unit handphone, uang tunai Rp 500.000.
“Dari pengakuan korban uang tersebut diletakkan dalam saku celana jeans serta di dompet berjumlah Rp 500.000,” kata Kapolres.
Melalui laporan itu, lalu Tim melakukan pengembangan, berbekal rekaman CCTV identitas pelaku bisa dikantongi.
“Informasi yang diperoleh pelaku diketahui sedang berada di sebuah kedai tuak Desa Beringin Taluk Kecamatan Kuantan Tengah, hingga berhasil diciduk,” kata Kapolres.
Lalu pelaku kata Kapolres diinterogasi, ia pun mengakui perbuatannya, selanjutnya pelaku beserta barang bukti dibawa ke Polres Kuansing guna pemeriksaan lebih lanjut.(riauterkini)
