PEKANBARU, detak24.com – Luas lahan terbakar dari 1 Januari sampai dengan Kamis (28/07/22) sekitar 1.043.35 hektar. Karhutla tertinggi berada di wilayah Rohul.
Hal tersebut dikatakan Kepala Pelaksana (Kalaksa) Badan Penanggulangan Bencana Daerah (BPBD) Provinsi Riau, M Edy Afrizal.
Edy mengatakan, bahwa pihaknya terus melakukan upaya untuk menekan luas lahan terbakar di Riau. “Kita terus berupaya agar bisa menekan luasan lahan yang terbakar di Riau,” kata Edy.
Ia mengatakan, sejauh ini, Kabupaten Rohul menjadi daerah dengan luasan lahan terbakar terbesar di Riau, dengan 292.5 hektar. Disusul oleh Kabupaten Rohil 145 hektar dan Kota Dumai 49.95 hektar.
“Kemudian, Kabupaten Bengkalis 136.20 hektare, Kabupaten Meranti 32.10 hektare, Siak 13.24 hektare,” cakapnya lagi.
Kemudian, Kota Pekanbaru 13.79 hektare lahan terbakar, selanjutnya, Kampar 139.47 hektare, Pelalawan 113.2 hektare, Inhu 26.90 hektare.
“Dan dua daerah dengan luasan lahan terbakar paling sedikit adalah Inhil dengan 80.50 hektare dan Kuansing yang hanya 0.5 hektare,” ujarnya.
“Kembali kita ingatkan kalau api kecil jadi kawan, api besar jadi lawan. Jadi jangan bermain-main dengan api,” tukasnya.(cakaplah.com)
