PEKANBARU, detak24com – Sempat viral di media sosial terkait adanya lumpur mancur di Jalan Soekarno Hatta, tak jauh dari lampu merah Pasar Pagi Arengka. Kejadian tersebut menyedot perhatian warganet.
Terkait hal ini, wartawan melakukan peninjauan ke lokasi tersebut Sabtu (24/6/2023). Hasilnya saat ini kondisi di lokasi tersebut sudah normal. Tak ada lagi lumpur mancur yang ada di lokasi tersebut. Sekitar lokasi juga sudah ditutup.
“Itu 2 hari lalu memang ada air yang keluar dari pinggir jalan itu. Kayaknya memang dari dalam pipa. Karena banyak tanah disitu, jadi pas air keluar nampak kayak lumpur mancur. Tapi sudah datang petugasnya kok, sudah diperbaiki,” ujar warga sekitar, Sabtu (24/6/2023).
Manager Operasional PT PP Tirta Riau sebagai pengelola distribusi air wilayah tersebut, Lukman mengatakan saat ini memang ada pekerjaan pada area jalan tersebut dan dalam tahap uji coba.
“Posisi pintu air yang tidak tertutup maksimal menyebabkan semburan air tersebut,” ujar Lukman, Sabtu (24/6/2023).
Ia mengatakan setelah mendapat informasi ini, kejadian tersebut sudah langsung ditangani dan pintu air yang belum tertutup sempurna sudah ditutup. Untuk selanjutnya akan dilakukan evaluasi kembali.
“Kami mohon maaf kepada masyarakat atas kejadian yang mengakibatkan ketidaknyamanan ini,” imbuhnya.(CAKAPLAH)
