DOSEN HI FISIP Unri Laksanakan Pendidikan Kewirausahaan Bagi Siswa SMA Negeri 1 Rupat Utara
RUPAT UTARA, detak24.com – Guna mempersiapkan generasi muda dalam menghadapi MEA, Dosen Hubungan Internasional (HI) FISIP UNRI, Sabtu (05/08/23) melaksanakan pendidikan kewirausahaan bagi siswa SMA Negeri 1 Rupat Utara, Kabupaten Bengkalis.
Di sini, dosen-dosen jurusan Hubungan Internasional, FISIP (Fakultas Ilmu Sosial dan Ilmu Politik) Universitas Riau melaksanakan kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat yang dipimpin oleh Irwan Iskandar, S.IP, MA dan beranggotakan Dr. Pazli, S.IP, M.Si dan Hendrini Renolafitri, S.IP, MA.
Selain itu, tim pengabdian masyarakat juga mengikutsertakan Nurhayati, Jihan Nabila Fahmi dan Herliana Rahmi MD sebagai mahasiswi pendamping.
Kegiatan yang bertemakan “Pendidikan Kewirausahaan dalam Menghadapi MEA (Masyarakat Ekonomi ASEAN) pada SMAN 1 Rupat Utara, Kecamatan Rupat Utara, Kabupaten Bengkalis” berlangsung di ruang baca SMA Negeri 1 Rupat Utara, Kecamatan Rupat Utara, Kabupaten Bengkalis. Kegiatan ini dihadiri oleh 48 orang siswa yang menduduki bangku kelas XI beserta para guru.
Kepala Sekolah SMAN 1 Rupat Utara, Kander Nasution, M.Pd.I, yang menyambut dan membuka kegiatan ini, mengapresiasi adanya kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat ini dan berharap kerjasama ini ditingkatkan karena dapat merubah mindset peserta didik untuk lebih bewawasan ke depan
Pada tahap penyampaian materi terdapat dua tema utama yakni Bersaing dalam MEA oleh Irwan Iskandar, S.IP, MA dan Marketplace oleh Nurhayati.
Setelah tahap pembahasan selesai, dilanjutkan dengan kegiatan tanya jawab dan kesimpulan oleh para siswa.
Pada sesi ini pertanyaan yang diajukan beraneka ragam, mulai dari cita-cita, rencana wirausaha, alasan untuk berwirausaha, termasuk kesempatan melanjutkan pendidikan ke jenjang perguruan tinggi. Sebagai penutup, kegiatan ini diisi dengan foto bersama dan tukar menukar kontak pribadi.
Selaku ketua pengabdian masyarakat Jurusan Hubungan Internasional, FISIP, Universitas Riau, Irwan Iskandar, S.IP, MA mengatakan bahwa sudah seharusnya generasi muda di Pulau Rupat mempersiapkan diri dan turut serta mengembangkan wirausaha dalam menghadapi persaingan ala MEA.(rilis/*)
