Terhadap puluhan pemuda itu, Kapolsek Tebingtinggi memberikan pemahaman dan peringatan agar tidak mengulangi perbuatannya tersebut.
“Kita mendapatkan informasi dari masyarakat bahwa ada aksi perang sarung di daerah Kuburan Cina. Bersama anggota kita langsung meluncur ke TKP. Ternyata benar adanya kejadian tersebut. Dan, mereka pun langsung kita bawa ke Mapolsek,” ungkap Kapolres Kepulauan Meranti AKBP Andi Yul LTG SH SIK MH melalui Kapolsek AKP Gunawan.
Bahkan, sebut Kapolsek, ia bersama anggota juga menemukan belasan pemuda yang sedang berkumpul pada jam rawan di jalan Pramuka saat patroli. Para pemuda itu juga ikut diamankan.
“Terhadap para pemuda itu, kita berikan teguran dan peringatan untuk tidak mengulangi perbuatannya lagi. Kemudian mereka kita pulangkan ke orang tua masing-masing.Termasuk juga barang bukti sepeda motor, setelah kita periksa kelengkapan surat-surat aslinya,” beber Gunawan.
Lebih lanjut dijelaskannya bahwa giat patroli ini merupakan rangkaian dari operasi Tertib Ramadan Lancang Kuning 2023. Sasarannya antara lain, kenakalan remaja, narkoba, sajam, miras, dan premanisme, serta gangguan kamtibmas lainnya.
Untuk itu, pihaknya menghimbau kepada masyarakat, khususnya pemuda agar tidak ada yang melakukan kegiatan yang menimbulkan gangguan kamtibmas.
“Mari bersama kita jaga kondusifitas wilayah agar tercipta situasi yang aman, terlebih di wilayah hukum Polsek Tebingtinggi,” imbaunya.(CAKAPLAH)
